Legacy of Love, Part One

This whole trip, from start to finish, started back in November when I posted a relatively simple request in shamone_mj : "I need to go to Forest Lawn, and I don't want to go alone." I'm the kind of person that needs to see things for themselves, and Michael's resting place is no exception.

There were dozens of responses, and shortly thereafter, legacyoflove  was born.

That was an amazing weekend! I love all the pictures from the trip. It was amazing because I really wanted to visit Neverland & Forest Lawn, but to able to meet all you awesome ladies and share this experience with you made it so much better ! <3

I printed the picture of us in front of the gates of NL and put it up in my office, It brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. :)

Same here! I'm really glad I was able to do those things with everyone :) It really did add so much more to the experience.

well (since I was there too lol) for me, it kind of felt like... none of his energy was there. NL is very positive. This was nothing really.

I wanna go back and relive this. LOL at my ~copyrighted images :D Your commentary is so spot on, and captured just... everything. example: "GET DOWN!"

Re-reading this also made me feel like we thought a lot of the same things but didn't share them. Like at FL, how you said Michael wasn't there. I felt that too, like there wasn't a real feeling of positivity or negativity there... but at Neverland? It's like magic fun energy just radiates!!! But at FL I felt I was the only one really openly wiping her eyes every few minutes... I'm strangely happy to find out I wasn't the only one. We hid it well that day I think because we were together. I also felt weird about vandalizing the gate (because I hadn't the 1st time I went) but with all of us together I think it was appropriate :)

those trees just outside the property are amazing! i totally want to go with you guys next year so let me know when you start to make plans.
