For this little poke at the triad of friends who dragged me (mostly willing, but still, its the principle of the thing) into the SPN fandom, aka, jellybean_slash, anael, and a_kindaraGuys? I'm not awesome, I'm like obsessed or possessed or SOMETHING. I'm seriously trying to write this thing as fast as I can, so I can just be DONE WITH IT ALREADY DAMNIT! but it keeps growing. First, there was Jess. Then, there was spirit. Then, there was the Haitian. Then, there was a chick at a truck-stop. And then, I cut a scene, so I'm back down to just over 6,000 words because OMGENOUGHALREADY. But they're still on the damn highway, not even in Louisiana yet. *Pouts* THEY HAVEN'T EVEN KISSED YET! OR HAD SIGNIFICANT TOUCHING! GAH!

Also? Yay! Go Floyd!

I didn't really drag you in. I was still being dragged down by a_kindara, and sort of grabbed your hand and pulled you down into the whirlpool with me. But now we've shifted about, and you're being pulled down faster while I sort of... float about. Darn. *Grabs your hand* Pull me!

Okay, so I don't really hate you. Actually, I love you very much, and could never express how awesome you all are for cluing me in to the amazingness that is SPN.

And, okay, so it's not really that plotty. It's...spotty-plot. Very swiss-cheese-ish and not really there at all except for a lingering smell of 'maybe.' And hopefully inordinate proportions will turn out to be something like...10,000 words or less. Because what I have now, already? Longer than some of my bloody grad school essays.

And, you know how much I love your writing, right?

Glad you liked it! It's one of the very few parts that actually makes sense without the striptease Stanford flashback astral plane wanderings rest of it.

Turns out its about the length of my dissertation. Written in two weeks, and not eight months.

I find that...vaguely disturbing.
