If we are to be honest, He hates it. He's useless here. There really isn't anyone in need or in trouble so he can't focus on the usual things he does in efforts to ignore his own situation. He is going out and meeting people and trying to at least be personable. It's all he's got for now.
Eiji isn't fully sure. He knows these are things he wishes he'd seen sooner in Ankh. At the same time, he knows that a change like this isn't one that Ankh would have done willingly on his own. He doesn't know what to expect as the reason these changes happened. The one thing he is hoping for most is that the reason for these changes doesn't split them apart again. Once was more than enough for him. Ankh is the one person he's allowed himself to get close to and that's something he sort of doesn't want to let go of just yet.
