Grandma's Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup dark molasses
1/3 cup cinnamon sugar

I'm well!! Thanks!! :) So looking forward to Christmas! It's absolutely the best time of the year! :D These are easy! Don't worry too much about the sifting thing though -- if you do that the dough isn't very stiff and hard to roll into balls. xx

Did you get a chance to try them? :D I made three batches this Christmas and I think the closer you cook them to the 10 min mark (leaving a few min to cool before removing them from the sheet) the better they are - more soft and less tooth-breakish). You think so?
