The bunny hit me at a hundred miles per hour between a discussion about Bruce's nightmares and me reading the whole thing, and I just had to write it. Finally. When I'd managed to snatch a few moments of free time to do so. *-* I'm so glad you liked it.

Oh-My-Lanta! I actually had to sit with this fic a while before I could comment. I've never even read Emperor Joker but get the heart of this fic. It is so.....true and so emotionally wraught. I loved the way you started the fic through Lois' POV. Her pain in this is so understandable, she tries to deal, they both do, by buying land on the banks of Denial but..... And boys, of course a crack investigative reporter with killer instincts would have seen the truth between the two of you, and loved her husband anyway.
This is brilliant and thought provoking and deep and full of agnst and GUH!!!!!!!!! I loved it.

I think I love Lois' POV even though, haha, I have a lot more experience writing Clark's. She has a special way of thinking about things, and an especially accepting, human perspective on things while also being one of only a few people capable of - or even who'd want to - challenge Clark about things. I wanted to write her struggling with Clark trying not to bring Superman home, but it being something outside of his control, and her knowing that. And of course she can't help but still love him--what's sharing him with Bruce when she already shares him with the whole world? Still, Bruce is less the sharey type, huh.
