7 is so catching, girl. An 40 and 42! The reds! How do you manage, etc. Also, obligatory - AMUSED! You made a post, huzzah, etc., so forth, happiness. 14 is probably my favorite here, you make me wish I watched Supernatural, and I didn't think anything could do that. I have so many of your Cas icons saved in my folder though, you're clearly the best at capturing him.

Okay, but in all honesty, THANK YOU. ♥
I was so determined to finish an a-mused set this month; I've tried before and never been able to finish. But it had to happen! Aaaaaand, oh my god, what a gorgeous thing to say. O.O Castiel is my favoriteeeeee, and I am so glad you think I capture him well. TBH, YOU SHOULD JUST WATCH SPN FROM EPISODES WITH HIM IN THEM. He's so awesome. Um, fangirling aside, really, that means a lot.

I've watched almost all of SPN through season four. I really loved seasons one and two but it started to go really downhill for me and after season three I stopped being a fan. I'll still rewatch the first two though! They're great. I think I was just a bigger fan of actual supernatural/myth/legends/creepy then the big roaming plotlines that came with the angels.

What I saw of Cas was great though, he's the kind of character I'd like to see in other shows.

SHINYYYYY! I love love the glow in your icons but I love the deep shadows even more. Your work with this sort of harsh contrast is perfect, just on the limit but never too much-- all of them but special shouts to #37, #41 and #42! And HOW do you work in so many colors in a single icon? #24 has so many colors on it plus perfect lightning and sharpness and guh I love it. Probably my favorite icon in this post. I really like #19 in a way that the image is almost monochrome but has dashes of colors, it's hard to pull that off but you do it! And then of course great compositions and crops (#36!!! which has spot on sharpness as well) and I'm a HUGE FAN of your text and placement and font choice and composition. And because I'm a curious cat, do you make a new layer for every letter? That must be a lot of work :S

All in all awesome and I love it all tyvm please get away from uni so I can have more of these plzktxbai.

To answer your questions (in order):
Re: coloring: I just, um, use a LOT of layer masks? Like...if layer masks, for some reason, suddenly disappeared, I'd be screwed, aha. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW ALL ABOUT GETTING A BAJILLION COLORS INTO ONE ICON, GIRL. YOU ARE A PRO AT IT. DON'T EVEN PRETEND.

Re: text: SOMETIMES. For things like 'staying alive', each letter had to be done individually, and in the icon of Ruby, the words with letters placed at angles and such (i.e. 'good') also had to have the letters place individually. Most of the time, however, I just place each new word on a different canvas (i.e. 'show me your teeth'). Honestly, though, it is so much easier for icons like 32 and 34 when I can just put all the text on the same damn layer. Gah.

I GUESS THAT'S ACCEPTABLE AS LONG AS YOU CONSIDER FILLING MY LIFE WITH PRETTY ICONS. :P
Now I am looking at these again and I definitely love 3 and 5 so so much. 10 has absolutely amazing shadows. 21's text/cap/coloring is pretty much the best thing ever. And the composition of 22 and 36 are stunning.
Also, my roomate is sitting next to me and she just looked over and said, "I love all her colors! Especially Cas in purple!"

Oh my GOD! I seriously love everything! My absolute favorites are #1, #3 (love those colors and the composition and contrast and everything!), #9, #15, #18, #20, #24, #41 and #42.. This is the kind of icon post that makes me want to watch all these shows just so I can use them (I've only watched 3 of them and one of those only one season of)! ♥
