Your lighting is fantastic!
Very pretty black & white icons.

I also like the colourful alternatives.

Cool! I was almost tempted to combine black and white with pink, but...haha.

SAMMMMMANTHAAAAAAAAA, YOU AND B&W NEED TO BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER.
Actually, I think you + lighting are best friends forever, and that just transferred so spectacularly into your b&w icons. Only there is so much BRIGHT compared to your recent style, which is interesting, just cos - take the colour away and the icons want to be bright anyhow? IDK. I am intrigued by odd things okay?!

I love so much of this batch. The compositions are all around stuuuuuuning. Like, #1, woah. With the cropping and the small and large images and the amazing text. The small and large works perfectly again in #9 (and the coloured alt, the pale tones are just, SO WOW!) but I think there's so much power in that crop. #13 & #14 are the same. The compositions you have with the rotated different sized cropped images are all just incredible. #19 & #20 though. SERIOUSLY. The images in #19, and that one image just has me lol'ing because it's so perfectly situated. There's a stunning clarity to the b&w there as well. It's really punchy and dynamic which I love. #20 ( ... )

WATCH ME FORGET HOW TO MAKE COLOR ICONS. JUST WATCH ME.
No, no I noticed it as well! I was all 'why is everything so freaking bright?!', but I think it is because a lot of the time my "coloring" process is what adds a lot of the darker, more contrasted bits? So without the colors everything stays in the original brighter state. WHICH IS WEIRD.

AND YOU LIKE THE ONES I WASN'T 100% SURE ABOUT AS WELL. 11 and 20 I was so iffy on because they are a bit ore adventurous than I would normally condone in my own work, I think. I embraced a few things, in terms of composition, that I might not normally go for (blurry caps being one), and I'm really chuffed that you like them, bb!

Also...this comment basically slays me! You are so lovely, Jess! Thank you so, so much! ♥ ♥

Ohhhhh~~
Black&white-icons are my weakness and yours are soooooo incredibly beautiful! *.*<33
And it's "Sherlock"! I couldn't be happier right now!

#11, #13 and #15 are my favourites! Everthing about these icons is perfect!

I'm taking a few a lot and will credit you, of course! ^.^
