I'm not familiar with any of these fandoms (I used to watch Xena when I was young, but it was only the earliest episodes and I don't remember much), but I loved reading these explanations. I have the feeling that I now know these fandoms much better even though I don't watch the shows.
My favourites are 6 and 10. 6 because I love the clean and dramatic contrast (between the serenity and the movement) of it. 10 because of the composition and colours (I love alt 2 as well). I also really like 11 and its alternate, such beautiful colours. 9 is also a stand-out, it's a kind of blending I'm in awe of, because you turned it into such an emotive icon, gorgeous.

Also I have been meaning to ask, have you watched Legend of the Seeker? Paula and I are on a mission to make sure all the W-S team has seen it so we can bug you all to make gorgeous icons of it. Which...while we are on the subject, it has great outdoor and action shots that have your name + negative space all over them. Just saying. ;)
I have not. That is, I think I watched the first two episodes and then stopped. I don't quite know why. Your comment however and the icons you (and Val) make of LotS... maybe I should try and find a good dl again...
It does have its...ups and downs, I suppose, and it can be quite silly at times, but it has a lot of things that make up for that (mord'sith, scenery, awesome action scenes, pretty hair, etc).
I am not even familiar with these fandoms at all, but mannnnn the pretty icons! I especially love 4 (the coloring a;lskdjf;lkjsdfjk, and the light textures), 6 (I love the composition, like a sort of simplified blocking), and 10 (again the composition! I love the different coloring schemes on each of the images). Gorgeous set!
I AM GOING TO very soon actually I've been downloading the first season and I will watch it after I finish this big paper due next week. BUT YEAH I SEE THE PRETTY AND I JUST WANT IT ON MY SCREEEN.
