Thanks hon! :D Also, so using screentones is a popular shading technique with Japanese mangaka (comic artists). It involves carefully cutting out sections of patterns/hatching from adhesive sheets and sticking them in the appropriate areas. It's kind of distinctive looking: here are a few random examples.

They are related! Screentones come in more varieties than just halftone dots, and halftones aren't always applied via the adhesive sheets (though I guess some 'screentoning' is done digitally now), but essentially yes. :) (I've never used either, but I find it very interesting!)
