[It takes Don a while to talk his family into letting him out of the house, but, as promised, as soon as he gets their grudging permission he heads to Community Building 7 to see Frederic.]

[He looks pretty beaten-up in general, but his injuries aren't bad. The worst is a neat bandage above his ankle. His energy is mostly recovered, and his mood is sober.]

[Frederic himself looked all right, but Donatello can see in his eyes that they weren't the same polite and kind ones he usually had. These seemed empty and cold, almost dead-like and his expression almost seemed forced when he smiled.]

I - brought you something. [He offers the plate of Mike's cookies, but it suddenly seems like an empty gesture.]

[Poland got the note that Frederic left for him under his door. He'd wanted to go and say something as soon as he'd heard about Helios. But this kind of relationship was a whole new ballpark and Poland was trying his hardest not to be too impulsive and ruin everything.

So he comes over and softly knocks on the door.]

[Frederic hears the knocking on his door then opens it to see Poland standing there. At first he simply stood there looking at the other, but then he leans forward and holds him close.]

Well, you know how it's New Feather season right? Well, we have the New Feather parties around the same time that you're having the play. I was wondering if we could have the play's Afterparty and the New Feather party all in one.
