THIS. Pretty much everything you said in this post (everything relating to the play, I can't speak for your experience at the LB airport and such haha) but everything about the play, THIS SO HARD! I had intended to do a review, but I am lazy, and fail at LJ, so it got away from me. And the lady? SERIOUSLY?! You are a much better person than me, because as a *stage manager* I would have totally grabbed her by the elbow in the lobby, drug her into a corner and berated the SHIT out of her for her behavior and then I would have dragged her to the box office and been like "See this woman? Take down her name and get a picture, and NEVER LET HER BUY TICKETS AGAIN

<3! Thanks for the wonderful comments! The only reason I ever got this typed up at all was because of prodding from other people for the deets; I am notoriously lazy but apparently easily persuadable, LOL

GAAHHHH, loved this whole thing. It was like taking a vacation, but in the comfort of my own home. So cool. Thanks for bothering to type it all up for us hapless beans. ♥ (It just makes the tragedy of no AiA tickets even more apparent - I WANT MY PLAY-BY-PLAY AIA EXPERIENCE, DAMMIT. D: I am a sad panda.)
Ugh, I still cannot believe that lady. Maybe she was trying to burst the pretty boy actor's bubble or something; like people are prone to do with those who are successful, or awesome. But I'm glad she got TOLD, and told good by somebody. That just ain't right, no matter how good or bad the performance was. Art is from the heart, I think, and it's not right to throw dirt on that.
Also also: Remembering the Long Beach info for KiScon, if I ever get to go. LAX is like, the thing I fear the most in going. D:
Wow, I hope you'll forgive the comment on something you wrote so long ago! I just wanted to say that that was an awesome, awesome review of the play and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Man, it was so vivid I felt like I was sitting next to you as you narrated what happened throughout the night; it was wonderfully comprehensive and I loved how you wrote about Chris Pine's performance

Sorry, roughly two years after you've written this, I've read this and I want to say (though I don't have much to say) that it was pretty fascinating to read this kind of semi-review, semi-hey this is what went on kind of piece
