There's Dexter Books?!?!?!

Yup. There are 4 books so far.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter was the first one.

Well, the story is completely different, but at least the first book is the base for the first season. Both quite similiar, but with different outcomes. Afterwards show and books drift apart, which is not too bad, I think. I love both of them. Even though the third... well the case was incredibly stupid in my opinion, but still. Nice character development ^^
