Now, paraka had a kind of shitty day full of schoolwork and drudgery yesterday, and an equally sleep-deprived day today, so I thought I'd brighten her day by letting her pick the fandom for tonight's podfic post. I love how annoyed Bob sounds in the first. Cranky!Bob is always my favourite kind of Bob. And it's great that you did that bit, because I've read the first one, but I didn't know of the Bob one, so thanks for the introduction.

I love that you did a podfic of Otherworldly Experiences. I know you didn't do it for me, BP exists so that podders can do it for themselves/the rest of fandom, not the author. But you're the first podfic I've gotten that wasn't from a "I will pod 5 fics, put your name down' deal. So it means a lot to me that you wanted to.

I think it was really cool how much your tone changed between Runner Mikey, and Mikey With Wings. Runner!Mikey was more subdued, you really pulled exhaustion into your voice, he just sounded done, so fucking done with it all. And then you go to Mikey With Wings, and the humor was definately there. Especially in Gerard's few lines ( ... )

I've actually got a few more of your fics recorded and waiting to be posted (that's the drawback of this one-a-day-all-the-way-through-amplificathon kick I've been on - they've been recorded for at least a week, some quite a bit longer, but I still have to sit on them)! You write such excellent AUs and crossovers, and that makes me smile like whoa, so I'm glad to return the smile back to you :-D

Thanks for all the nice things you just said! I didn't actually find BOB IN SPACE til long after I'd read inexplicable tentacles, but I figured that after being turned into a squid and a tiger, he'd be about at his limit of Things The Pegasus Galaxy Can Do To Me (all he needs now are some wings, and Bob will have conquered the air, the land, and the sea...)

I'm so beyond psyched to hear that you liked what I did with Otherworldly Experiences. I wanted to differentiate between the various scenarios, and you set such different tones with your writing, so basically I'm all kerfluffeled that you like what I did. (Though I don't read a whole lot ( ... )
