So last year (!!!!) I got conned by bessyboo into creating a Twitter account, largely due to the fact that she and cantarina1 were hosting an Informal Twitter Podfic Exchange in time for the holidays (should you be wondering, I am easily swayed by the prospect of Secret Santa Podfics - I have little to no willpower when it comes to people giving me presents).

Funny story. The first time I downloaded one of of your podfics, I feel for your voice and reading style pretty instantly, but I couldn't stand your story choice. I'd assumed we just had incompatible fic tastes (it happens) and bemoaned my fate (awesome new reader I can't actually listen to DDDD: ) at fishpatrol. Happily, I was very wrong and the story dislike was just a one-off :D

Hooray for podficular stick-to-it-ive-ness! I'm so glad it was just a one-off, 'cause it would have been a terrible tragedy if we had to be un-friends based on just one story choice.(But now I'm morbidly curious: what podfic was it?)

Ha! Now I want that to exist outside your head! Like a comm of partial podfics for those of us who like to listen to WIPS (and the nice thing about podfic, is even if the podfic isn't done, the listener can go read the rest!)

Ooh - could it be a comm where people can adopt unfinished podfics? Like how sometimes people put their plotbunnies up for adoption? ('Cause if someone's only gotten halfway through a three-hour fic, and then someone else did the back half, it's totally like a collaborative podfic, right?)
