Tony was leaning against the railing, back to the Thames, staring at the milling rich people and regretting letting Pep talk him into flying to London himself for a business meeting. He'd blown out of the meet an hour ago and found himself at this car auction, which made the whole 'London' thing slightly better, but only slightly.
You just couldn't buy awesome cars off the rack. They needed love and care and money and magic to become real special and these, while impressive, were... flat. So Tony was people watching instead and bitching at JARVIS like a high school girl. Shut up, it's good for the soul.
He let his gaze trail after the stuck up asshole who ran the show and landed on a pair of black guys who looked a) terribly out of place and b) more interesting than anything that'd happened since aforementioned asshole had almost gone ass over teakettle into the river when he'd recognizes Tony StarkFrom the look on his face, the two guys weren't getting ( ... )

Okay, I love this so much, I don't even think you know. Tej only has the one line, and yet he's still so very Tej. And Tony, with the cyber-stalking, just because he's curious and he can. Tony's feeeelings about cars having souls. Don't judge a car by it's paint job.
