So, there's kind of a story behind the upcoming podfic? Not an exciting story, exactly, but a story nonetheless.
It started last week, when Frank Iero Tweeted about the aggravation of random single socks on laundry day.
And then, I wanted My Chemical Romance laundry fic. Because, obviously. So I opened up a tab for mizubyte's Van Days Era fic, Spin and Rinse. And it's kind of perfect, because mizubyte has Blanket Permission for everything, too. (Blanket Permission is kind of awesome, you guys.)
And then, I kind of just... left it sitting there.
So then, this morning, croissantkatie mentioned that she was suffering from a case of First Class Of The New School Year Nerves. "Obviously," I thought to myself, "what she needs is a nerves-calming podfic."
Which - the first class of a new school year is a Big Deal to get through, right? And doing laundry for the WayBrothers is ALSO a Big Deal to accomplish. And then akamine_chan egged me on, via Twitter. So....really, what could I do but podfic, right?
And, for added ambiance, I recorded this AS I RAN A LOAD OF LAUNDRY IN THE DRYER. That's right, I am full of creative listening ideas! Also, the cover is a screencap from this gif.
