Awww! I really like John's internal monologue here, and his snarky terms for his various inner "voices" (EmoJohn particularly cracked me up -- but it does sound like something he'd think). They're so sweet together! You do have a good handle on their voices and their conflicted/caring relationship -- whether it takes the form of friendship or slash.

I am so glad you think I've got their voices! Sometimes it's hard in slash, and I think it can make or break a story. and, I really can't get enough of h/c slash. I think everything involving them is a tug-o-war, and the conflict, inner and outer, is key. Well, for me at least.
