I am spacing out on who could be the "other parents" could be. Alice is the person looking for her other parent, which leaves very few canon characters to chose from. As she's roughly the same age as most of the cast of characters.

I would include Lucia, but the some total of information about her is about five lines of dialouge and at that point I might as well make her an OC.

Don't forget that you can cross-over to other fandoms, too. As long as the Torchwood characters are the main focus.

Happy to say that I've finished my first handwritten draft and now I'm typing up chapters - up to number 6 and my beta is beginning to nitpick. Loved writing this one.
Only niggle is that I couldn't write sex between Jack and Gwen so I bottled. My het stuff isn't much good anyway.
