Okay, folks. The comm is now closed until this round of prompts is over (22 August). If there's enough interest, we'll do a second round sometime in early September.

K's, justa quick question. I usually do my own artwork and post it inside the story. If I ask a friend of mine to do some additional work, but she's not a member of the community, can I post it inside the story and credit her?

We'd prefer that everyone who posts to (or is mentioned on) the comm be a member. So what we'll do is send an invite to your friend and she can join the comm, and that'll sort it out. So please let me know who it is so I can invite her to join.

No worries. I decided to do my own artwork, nothing fancy just my usual header or something.

I just thought I'd ask, my fic looks as though it is going to be a multichapter fic. Do I have to wait till the fic is completed before I post or can I post it chapter by chapter?

Thought I'd ask before I posted..... :D

We'd prefer you wait till it's done before posting. If you want to post it chapter by chapter in your own journal, obviously that's up to you, but a single link to the completed fic is what we're looking for here. :)

Hi I signed up for artwork but then I guess I never actually joined the comm for some reason. Now I'm ready to post and can't. Is there anything that can be done?

I'm terribly sorry but I'm going to have to withdraw from the challenge. I got about 3000 wds in and just blanked. I hung on this long hoping it would work out, but there's no way I'm making it by the deadline.

No worries - I'm withdrawing myself (for the same reason) so you're not the only one. Stupid writer's block, yeah?

If you do get a flash of inspiration in the next couple of weeks and get it finished, feel free to post the fic here anyway. And if not, there's always the next round to try again. :)
