Who says retellings are just regurgitation? exegesis June 28 2006, 07:02:12 UTC
An excellent twist on an old tale, which I enjoyed very much. I especially liked how well you incorporated a well known story into the 'real' SGA universe.

But now I have to go read Around the World in 80 Days because I haven't read it yet!

I loved this alien technology. The idea is so fun - I totally want to play! I could be Jane Eyre or Elizabeth Bennett. OMG, that would be so fabulous. Great use of your prompt in the challenge, it was a very clever re-telling of the tale. Also, Miko a cliff diver? So great.

I've just read this and I gotta say I love the development of the characters. It's refreshing to see John's attraction for Rodney grow in different stages, but told out through a "fake" Rodney.

I was wondering how you were going to sneak in Rodney at the end and you did it nicely. It was also realistically spaced between the sga eps.

Thanks for sharing ! :)
