...so is this really in the works? Who owns the show rights?

I actually think I was pretty hard on Mikey, who's not so much horrible as clueless. OTOH, I think Hal's acting made Mikey come across as a total weenie. I do think imagining him as a slimy mollusk is perfect. I love your exploration graphic! ...although with this project, putting the exploration in outer space might be more appropriately symbolic? We'll see, I guess!

The petition is really the first step to just getting Showtime's attention, but yup, ball is a-rollin', yo. As for the rights, I'd say Showtime owns the US show still, judging from their rerunning of the eps.

Yeah, the show's writing didn't do Michael's character any favors. :| Awww, thanks, bb! LOL, this whole thing really is like a tale from outer space!
