During the last scene of 1x04 of Revolution, I was only yelling one word at the screen - over and over again: "Why?!" I just want to know why Miles asked Rachel to come to him after the blackout. They both obviously know much more about what happened. Add to that what Neville said to Danny about being very important. I guess that Charlie might be equally important then? It might only have to do with Miles promising Rachel that her children will stay alive, but I think there is much more to that. Seriously, this show is driving me crazy! *lol*
WORD. I want to know if Miles asked her to come and she did or (more likely) if he threatened her with the kids' safety. It's super interesting that Miles didn't ask for his brother to come, but his brother's wife. WHAT DOES SHE KNOW. It's so like Lost in that DRIVING ME NUTS way. ;D
I admit Revolution always leaves me wanting more and for that, even if I don't like Charlie and some things are boring, I'm always sucked in! Such a weird feeling.
stupid ep with the pretend wedding but I admit it: I teared up at the end THIS! So much! The New Normal is veeeeeery stupid most of the times but there's always some little scene that makes me all awwwwwwwww.
Basically, I always want to quit both shows and I always tune in the following week. Huh.
P.S. Did you watch Hawaii Five-0?? They're not even subtle anymore with the slash over there! *loves*
Revolution is oddly addictive and pretty much like the mob. Just when we want out, it sucks us back in. (Though I like Charlie. ;)
Word. And that's so not what I was expecting with The New Normal. I like the show for what it is, but, ngl, I honestly thought it was going to be more Modern Family-esque. And, wow, it is so not. :\
LOL, what you said. These shows are the mob, I'm telling ya.
I'm still trying to catch up on last season of H50, if you can believe it alkfdjakl. UGH I'M SO BEHIND ON EVERYTHING.
I think The New Normal is a cute show, but I doubt it will ever be more than just cute because all the characters seem pretty two dimensional to me. Which actually worked in their favor in this episode because if Goldie had been an actual three dimensional person, I would have been really annoyed at her for letting Bryan spend that kind of money on a pretend wedding for her kid, but since these characters come across to me as pretty much cartoons, I could just go with it as something cute without any real substance.
The show I'm most loving so far this season is Go On. Yeah, it's Matthew Perry so the chances of my not liking it were pretty slim, but I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do after just a few episodes.
I really do think you're right. I was expecting it to be more Modern Family-esque and it's disappointing. I just have to start lowering my expectations. It is what it is and I can enjoy that, cos, really, unless there's some major shake-ups in later scripts, doesn't look like things will be changing soon. And that makes me a bit sad cos it's more like Glee in that way than I was hoping, ugh. Oy, yeah, Goldie allowing that money to be spent made no sense to me, especially when she was the one who didn't even want to move in with them in the first place!
ME TOO. Go On has been incredible! Every ep is coming along strong and I just love all the characters and basically: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :D
Ohh, I wonder! The militia wasn't in place then, I don't think. That happened within weeks of the blackout. But doesn't mean Miles and Monroe couldn't have found out about it later on and used it against her.
D'oh. I really like Charlie, but everywhere I look she just ain't gettin' the loving, man. ;)
DID YOU HEAR THAT *spoiler* Matt BoNer is gonna be on New Normal?!!!!!! Ryan tweeted it yesterday. I think he's playing Bryan's ex-boyfriend!! that's cray-cray!! soooo excited!!!
