Headed to New York Sheep & Wool tomorrow

I am headed north tomorrow morning to the New York Sheep & Wool Festival. This is my favorite show of the year in terms of setting - gorgeous fall colors on the Hudson River - and festival layout. The people are great, the festival is well planned and well presented, and it is a really neat way to close out the goat show year ( Read more... )

Good luck reedrover. I really like Rhinebeck and the goat shows, too - only drawback is that on a nice weekend it gets INSANELY crowded; which is good if you're a seller, not so good if you're just trying to get down the aisle. Someday I hope to be a vendor there. Till then... I just hope to get back as a spectator; maybe next year.

I don't mind the good-weather crowds. There is enough to see, and enough outdoor booths, that if the indoor areas are that bad I just stay outside.
