I will look at downloading the community and report back here. Then it can be left up, in case there is a livejournal renaissance. ;)

I actually came to see how this was doing after having looked at ello again and being disappointed about how little it got used. I fear the content and discussion and attitude that permeated LJ is no longer of our time. Facebook has brought more people into the social media fold, and as such has demanded different tach.

That being said, there's no reason not to use LJ if you want to...never has been. Using it is the only way it will ever be used again, yes? Abandon the Like Monster and you will be freed from it.

Wow. Fun times digging through all of the reedlj backlog. The alumni facebook group flames wars don't hold a candle to the lj days. sigh.
