Excellent to learn of the return date! But is it me, or do these return dates for summer move farther and farther towards the fall season each year? Didn't they use to start sometime in June for off-season summer shows? Then last year, if I recall correctly, they moved it to sometime in July, and now it's supposed to come back at the end of August... And Franklin & Bash isn't the only show doing this, either. Pretty much the same happened to Leverage and White Collar, though there were also other reasons behind White Collar's delay.
A couple of years back, I was really glad that off-season summer shows were invented so there wasn't such a huge summer hiatus in which nothing but reruns were broadcast between May and September. Now it seems we need to get used to those gigantic gaps again. It's kind of frustrating.
They aired in June or July last year but it was supposed to be in August, originally. TNT rearranged the schedule and moved it forward. I kind of wish it was sooner. We haven't had Reed on our screens since he was killed off in Bones and The Mentalist!
