Thank you for the info and the character picture that goes with it, derevko_child! Ever since the culturally fixated Christmas interview, I have been wondering what kind of a role Reed Diamond had in Wayward Pines. Not much is revealed about the character aside from him being one of the townsfolk.
Have you read the book which the show is based on? They've made some changes for the show but it's a good read and if they get the adaptation right, the show has the potential to be really great.
No, I haven't read the novel (yet). To be perfectly truthful though, the Twin Peaks reference in that connection is the main reason for it because I was no big fan of that novel, in fact, I didn't even finish it. The mystery element just wasn't my cup of tea.
Still, I hear you concerning the potential of the show. After all, they have managed to assemble quite the cast for this project.
Even though that is probably the whole point, I'm still curious as to the significance of the toymaker since it strikes me as odd that no other detail or additional info is given for his character but he is obviously nonetheless considered integral enough to be mentioned in this press release, which pretty much focuses on the relationship the central character has with all other characters.
