they didn't let me in. i don't think it had anything to do with my academic record, but i didn't realize until after they rejected me that they had been emailing urgent requests for more info to an email account of mine that i haven't used since high school. it is really weird because i submitted all my uc apps tovgether on the uc app website, and bit santa cruz and davis emailed me at the right place, but i had no way of knowing. it makes me kinda angry, but i had pretty much already decided to go to a smaller school.

i'm so happy for you. i bet you'll really like it - i love the small school environment. and don't worry too much about the niche thing. i'm just a little bit sad you're not going to be moving closer to me :( maybe next year i can graduate and move to montreal and then we'll be able to visit each other all the time!
