Book update.  It's been a busy month or two, so my reading has slowed down. In April I spent time in three states besides my own, and continued the uphill battle to graduate.  The semester ends a week from yesterday, so hopefully I will have more brain space available for reading soon.  In the meantime, what fluff have I been enjoying?

I runned away from home.

I went to Office Max to buy my sticky notes, and then to Shakers for dinner.  The service was abysmal, but the salad I have been craving was good and I used the time to work on my to do lists.  I have organized the work to death, now I just have to do it.

50. Micah by Laurell K. Hamilton (4/12/07, 245 pages). In this book, Anita and Micah go somewhere else to raise a different zombie.  Anita does some of her traditional making-life-hard, there is one goofy sex scene, and one zombie raising. 43. Maybe, Maybe Not by Robert Fulghum (4/2/07, 232 pages).  This is the Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten guy, and I like the reflective tone he takes in sharing personal experiences, then tying them to larger phenomena.  This book was typical of his work, and fine.

Also, remember how I was going to stop reading the Anita Blake books at Obsidian Butterfly? After that last post telling the universe how tiiiiiiiired I am, I did the obvious thing and went to bed with a book.  And - here is where the plan got stupid - read the book.  You know, all 451 pages of it.

2 am is a perfectly reasonable bedtime on a school night, right?
