Anybody know an Arabic speaker? I am looking for the Arabic word or phrase that means "windchime" and I haven't found an online resource that provides a pronounciation guide.

I know several. :) When do you need it? (I'll see them Tuesday during class.)

Tuesday is fine.

I am looking for the word, rendered in an alphabet I can type, and some sort of pronounciation guide so I don't mangle it too badly.

Just to give you the background, I am wearing so much jangly stuff for our performance (this! Sunday!) that my dance teacher told me I need to find out the Arabic word for windchime, since it is about time I get a dance name.

Thank you for humoring and helping me :)

No problem. :) Sorry I can't have it before Sunday. But Tuesday won't be a problem, as the Arabic speakers outnumber the English only folks in my law class (and the Muslims nearly outnumber the rest of us, which I find vaguely amusing in a class on Islamic law.)

Thanks, and please dont worry about the timing. I am dancing as 1/8th of Sulalita, so it's not like I need a dance name for this event :)

If I remember correctly, Hawwa is Arabic for wind, but is also the name given to the first woman, in one of the creation myths.
