Wow...what a chapter, you've packed so many emotions in here. Tim is feeling way too much and Tony is feeling empty, this is so difficult for him as he's almost caught in the middle. He knows that Tim needs Gibbs and that Gibbs needs to concentrate on Tim but Tony's been kind of left on the edge for a while here and I really hope he doesn't get to thinking that Tim would be better off with just Gibbs and that Gibbs could just concentrate on Tim, Tony always does put other people before himself. Oh angsty times ahead!!!

Yup Poor Tony. He thought he had it all figured out and then you get thoese moments were you realise you didn't really understand what was going on all.
Washington is harsh reality while Never Never Land was this safe fantasy place for them.

Very compelling, and I'm glad to see this story updated, but I do have one issue: when is Gibbs going to be with Tony again? All I ever see is Gibbs and Tim, and occasionally Tim and Tony, and more Gibbs and Tim, while Tony watches. For someone who's supposed to be all about needing to be touched, he seems to end up on the sidelines more often than not. And it does feel like Tim is Gibbs favorite now, only Gibbs is too afraid to say it and destroy Tony. I'm a Tony girl, so my loyalties lay with him, sorry.

Thanks for commenting. Actually I have worked pretty hard at keeping everything even. Gibbs and Tony in the pool while Tim was asleep for example. But being a Tony girl you only see the Tony stuff. Thats fine. But the point Im making is that they only work as a three so all of them are trying to make it work. Back at the very beginning Tony and Gibbs didn't work and Tony left to make his own life and Tim brought him back in. If Tim bows out of their relationship then Gibbs and Tony might last for a while but ultimately crumble. This is a true threesome not a twosome with another tacked on. Its also part of a series with Gibbs/McGee that then moves onto Lost Boys where Tim invites Tony in to be with Gibbs.
Tim is NOT Gibbs favourite (although it is a fear of Tonys just like Gibbs fears growing old and weak and Tim thinks he isn't enough for either of Gibbs or Tony) but if thats how you see it because Gibbs is trying to get him better so they can ALL be better then well....I will try and make it clearer if I can.
