Wow. Good for you! I never would have thought of such a real life application for a TV episode. I'm under the weather this morning and have not yet had my coffee, so I'm not going to claim I even partially have a working thinking hat on right now. But my first impression of all this is that it would definitely lead to some interesting discussions, if managed appropriately

This is what I like about Glee - it is totally cracky and outrageous and so easy to mock and gleek out about and yet time and time again it seems to just subvert the genre by sliding in surreptitiously some sneaky lines of dialogue that make you just stop and go 'Wait. What?? What did he/she just say??'
I am constantly on the hunt for clever, intelligent, ACCESSIBLE texts (be they in whatever form) I can use in the classroom that will initiate at least some questioning of the 'way things are' and hopefully some healthy debate and critical thinking about the kids' own perceptions and where they've evolved from. I'm always open for suggestions on this one! Thanks for your comment :)
