Well that was interesting! Had some very instamatic reactions to this unlike Odyssey which had my responses to it cooking for a bit first.( Drive by thoughts below... )
Lastly. Overall I liked this episode a lot. They've packed heaps in and seem in a hurry to get particular story arcs up and running but still the way Clark is being written? I'm really enjoying that. More of the new Clark please. In collared shirts and dress pants. Though the denim jeans also look good. Always have. They may have improved the bus rescue scene by maybe having some sort of sprinkler system covering Clark in water but I guess you can't have everything.
I loved how you summed this all up, because it feels like something I would've said. I'm just loving how they are writing Clark so much that I feel really inclined to forgive them a lot. I mean, A LOT! Compared to some of the terrible writing Clark has gotten in the past, its so amazing to be able to watch SV and see Clark being written as the hero he is, and showing the confidence and maturity that his life experiances have given him. And I think Tom must be loving it.
