So by my count it is approximately just under 15 hours till SV Episode 1 Season 8 screens over there in US/Canada land. That means I'll be watching it by the time you guys hit Friday morning (Friday evening my time). *Does the math* Must stay away from LJ between hours of 8.30am Friday (my time) until I get to watch it.

I'm very excited.

I'm sad to see the last of Lex, and he can never be replaced. The show will always have a hole in it for him. Which, in a way, is good. I think we should feel his presence.

I'm thinking of this new season as the next chapter in Clark's ongoing story.

YAY cos from the looks of it Clark is looking mighty fine and BOO because this is the last season (I don't care what rumours are flying round, Tom is done at the end of this one and therefore so shall I).

Same here! I really hope Tom doesn't sign up for a season 9, if there's one. And without Tom, I'll be done watching for good!
