I don't know if I've seen that brand in Canada, but that's a LOT of DM, twice what I usually see. Wow.

Cool story bro time: I used to always get this one kind of cough syrup, because it was the only thing that really kept my cough from becoming an ear infection. I was really prone to those when I was still smoking. This one time, middle of a head cold, I run out of cough syrup. I go to the drug store, and buy what looks like it. My head feeling like it's been packed full of pate, I take the usual dose and wait for it to kick in. A half an hour later, I'm lying flat on my back on my bed, watching the ceiling swirl, giggling and unable to get out of bed because it felt like I was floating and I couldn't find my limbs. It turns out that the version I'd bought was this concentrated extra strength stuff, and I took twice the dose I should have. Fun stuff!

I'm taking the max strength Mucinex DM - 1200 mg guaifenesin plus 60 mg dex. Just took my first one this morning; I am feeling a bit spacy, but I'm also still coughing - so I'm not sure it's doing what it's supposed to do!
