I stumbled over this sentence: Pushing some sordid combination of buttons a holographic compass had formed over the watch face then a multitude of other features all with the assigned Torchwood logo emblazoned in the corner. Actually, that paragraph felt like it needed to be phrased a bit differently. I knew what you were trying to say, but I think it needed to be said a little differently.
Those little things can get you drawered.
Most of all, though, I have a sense of imcompleteness here. The story just stops, without much really having happened. I think this was a 500 word limit, right? Take advantage of that. Being to abrupt can also get you tossed in a drawer (that's what happened to me).

Thank you for your feedback. Torchwood's a new writing fandom for me and I was having issues with the muses.
