If we're 11 up in September, I want to see Bowden make starts for us. I want to see Hansen back in the bigs. I want to see Jed Lowrie and Jacoby Ellsbury starting together.
I'm almost positive we will see Hansen this year. Post All-Star break, he's had an ERA of 1.65, only 5 walks and 22 strikeouts in 16.1 innings of work. He might just pan out yet.
I'd love to see Lowrie as well. He's not really talked about much but he's been solid this year. At 23, he's hit .298/.397/.512 between Double-A and Triple-A this year. Epstein recently said he thinks Lowrie could be the most underrated player in the Red Sox farm system.
Bowden's struggled a bit though, I'm not sure he should come up right now. He has a 4.27 ERA at Double-A. Not bad but I don't think it's good enough to warrant a call up.

Although it was nice to beat up Buerle and Vazquez, legit pitchers.

Buehrle - 3.50 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, .265 BAA even after his start against the Red Sox
I'd say they're some of the most legit starters in the league.
