I don't think there's a chance the Yankees could move him if they wanted to unless, like, you said, they ate most of his salary. Very few teams could pick up that ridiculous contract, and even fewer would.

I wouldn't want him on one of my teams if you paid me that salary. My teams have plenty of ego (Roger Clemens, Ivan Rodriguez) and crazy (oh Manny) to go around. I'm not sure what would happen if the Princess was thrown into the mix. Of course, now I have a new recurring nightmare scenario to haunt me until trade deadline, which has not been kind to me in the past.

Not that I think we need to worry about it. I sincerely doubt the Yankees would trade A-Rod. It wouldn't help them and it wouldn't make them look good.

True. How many years are left on that contract, though? Fifteen million is manageable for plenty of teams (though for others it would be a significant chunk of the payroll), but how long would they want to be paying it?

Yes, texas is paying $10 million a year, therefore Arod is only a 15 mill a year player, just like abreu. if people are intrested in Abreu, how are they not intrested in Arod? He'd more likely thrive outside of NY like he did with texas. Kruk had a good point where you can't be considered the best of your generation if your going to get traded because your known as mentally weak, but still. I tihnk its great that arods on the yankees.

Yeah. I frequently wonder, though, if he'd have been less of a punkbitch had he come to play with our boys instead of The Yankees.

Because if he didn't suck so much...

Ugh, I must be feverish. I will *not* entertain this A-Rod in Boston fantasy.

Arod can reject any trade, thus I don't think he's going anywhere.
