It is cold enough up here that I'm keeping the chickens inside, in the dog kennel they lived in when I first got them. I'm pretty sure they'd survive the cold just fine, but the door to their house is frozen shut and I worry about their drinking water freezing and them getting dehydrated. I haven't done 9 to 5 in years now. I just know it's going to be painful if/when I do have to fall into it again. Are the chickens getting apprehensive about Christmas, or is their main purpose brrking at would-be burglars?
