I gave to say I know how you feel

All the teens and their writings and amazing graphic abilities are great, but I cant really relate to them. Im always on a search for 20-something people and never have much luck.

So hi :) haha

Happy 50th! I hope you've had a great 50 posts.

I was just looking at your interests more closely and realized you had pommes frites down as one. Have you ever been to Vol de Nuit on 4th St? Mmmm pommes frites, mussels and Belgian beer galore! Although I don't believe they have my sweet mango chutney mayo that I love so much there. For that I need to trek over to 2nd Ave...but it's well worth it!

Here's to another 50!!!!

Many thanks.

That place your talking about is the one by that outdoor sangrea bar, right? I've seen that place, never been inside. Now I will!

Outdoor sangrea bar?! I must be missing out!

But...it's right next door to The Fat Black Pussycat.

Oh yeah. Maybe I'm on crack I thought that bar with the outside area was there-- I'll have to bum around there soon. But I know the Pussycat...

I wish I could relate with young twenty somethings and I'm one of them!

I won't say any more or else I'll rant again....

Nothing wrong with ranting! Ranting is the way to go these days...

That's true-it's healthy to have a moan. I guess it's because I saw my best friend the other day, she moved out of Leeds to go to university, she's nearly at the end of her degree (starts her third and final year in September) but the prospect of getting a job scares her so much she's going to study something else.

I just can't relate to that, I study but I work too, I don't mind having financial responsibilities because I'm also independant. I just don't understand how some young people can dedicate themselves to good causes but can't take ownership of their own lives....

.....I don't care if anyone reading this doesn't agree. I might not agree with me later.......

I have people MY age that are sort of in the same boat-- they just keep going back to school and getting degrees in an effort to avoid "the real world". And not just the financial aspect of things; they're avoiding the "social" part of the adult world as well. Imagine being 28 years-old, living with your folks rent free, never going out to do anything and having a PhD...

I know people who post 50+ times a week, and one or two who might manage that in a day. Don't feel bad! When I had regular access to the inter-net at my place, I used to comment a lot. Sorry I haven't had much time to keep up with your journal. I'm working on it!

That's cool man, like I said, I don't think "comment whoring" is the route I'm taking just yet. When the day comes where I write something like "Why can't you fuckers comment on my journal??!!! WAH WAH WAH!!!!" you should totally just cut me off.
