Hello,

I'm sorry to barge in like that! A friend of mine (hermine) introduced me to the colourful world of Red Shirt Press and fanzines via the Military/Intelligence zine. I'm very thrilled (especially since now I see that there'll be a Pros zine *double yay*) and was hoping to get some more information on Red Shirt Press.
I went to look at your yahoo webpage, but I understand it's subscribed members only.
I'd just like to know.. you know... MORE! Especially: how and where can I order and: are there any Star Trek zines?

I also never wrote Pros fanfic, but if you're still looking for contributions in a few weeks or months and I can whip something up that you like, maybe I can contribute then!

Thank you and please excuse my rushing in,
Sally

P.S.: May I friend you?

Hi,

RSP is still looking for contributions for our Pros zine, so you have plenty of time to write something and submit it. Deadline is January 2009.

At the moment, our old zines are out-of-print, so there is no way to order them, but are glad you liked Military/Intelligence. We usually publish a zine and then after a year or two we "retire" it. That way the rights for the art and the stories revert back to the authors and artists.

The Yahoo Group is only for artists and authors involved in the creative process of the Pros zine - so if you submit something, you will be asked to join that list. *g* It is not for anything else, all announcements regarding our zines are made here, on our LJ.

Yes, go ahead and friend us!

Can you indicate word count rather than pages, since potential tribbers won't know your layout and font specs.

Is this zine still being prepared? I'm curious!
