Skip the hearts and flowers, skip the ivory towers

Alas, the time is upon us when every episode of Merlin brings us closer to the Big Day of Fateful Finale-dom, like some sort of semi-apocalyptic advent calendar. With the score for the series at 9 episodes down, 4 to go, here are my thoughts on ( With All My Heart... )

I now can't watch Morgana without the words; "Makus Peepul Fallova" going through my head.
Instead of sighing at her seemingly limited attack skills it just gives me a chance to grin insanely every time.
Again loved your review :)

I confess, the same thing happens to me, and it makes the tedious repetitiveness of it much easier to bear!

Colin was amazing this week. Loved him playing a guy who doesn't know how a woman reacts to things. I fully believe that they had trouble filming it because of the giggles.

Yes, it only went to prove how little Merlin usually pays attention to women! "They're the ones in dresses who bat their eyelashes at men... and um... errr.... that's about it."

the murmurings of the hardcore slash contingent who are thinking exactly the same thing GPOY

Hmm, Arthur's complaints about the indignity of pushing the Queen around in a wheelbarrow sound pretty ironic when he's got no problem with flinging unceremoniously her over a horse so she's flapping about in the breeze like a shapely sack of turnips. I KNOWWWW!

Arthur was also lucky that carrying Gwen as luggage didn't have a terrible effect on her hair. If this was real life, she'd have arrived with a huge mess of tangles, full of bits of bush and twig from the countryside along the way...

I like to put a bit of musical nostalgia into my post titles, on the off chance that someone will spot it!

Yes, this one was quite nice, wasn't it? And not unlike another commenter above, I also think of "Makus Peepul Fallova" whenever I see Morgana now... I even shouted it at the screen gleefully.

I was kind of reminded of this Voldemort quote: "Is it love again? Dumbledore's favourite solution, love?"

If I'm not mistaken, next week may be "Morgana finds out who Emrys is" week. About bloody time too if you ask me.

I'd forgotten that Voldemort quote! I fear I deleted it at the same time as all my other Potter knowledge....
