The curse of a vivid mind

Although I am known as a purveyor of sophisticated wit and intellectual discourse to the massed minions of the internet (hem hem), I admit that my sense of humour can be very childish indeed. Those who know me well will need no proof of this, but I'm going to show you some anyway.

They really, really needed to use a different zoom level or orientation of that diagram, didn't they? *blink, blink*

I strongly suspect that there may have been some sniggering in their art department that day. It may have only been 1951, but humanity's got several millennia of dick jokes under its belt (or at least, several inches below it, nudge nudge wink wink).

Thank you. I find a one-track mind fits nicely into many social arenas. ;-)

With enough mattresses at hand, this might make a fun activity for the next pug meetup!

I can see how they might enjoy being thrown, but I imagine they might be less pleased about landing afterwards.

Have you ever seen the Wallace monument in Stirling? They weren't even pretending not to be suggestive. Driving down the A91 towards Stirling once, I actually had to stop the car cos I was sniggering so badly - the way the monument is placed amid the surrounding hills & trees, the entire landscape screamed "fat man lying on his back with massive stiffy". I wish I'd had a camera.

I haven't seen it, no, but having just Googled it, I can see exactly what you mean! Any architectural feature with a bulbous tip screams "compensating for something".

I'm also amused that one of the images Google showed me was from a site called Rampant Scotland. But given the name, I admit I'm rather disappointed that it's a site about lots of Scottish attractions, not just the phallic ones...

Not only does it have a bulbous tip, it also has two rounded buildings at the bottom. Oh yes.
