I was just listening to Radio 2 and was most amused to hear the announcer say "Christopher Eccleston is Angry, Sexy and Working-Class!" No, this wasn't a public service announcement: it turns out that he is narrating a radio series about kitchen-sink drama of the 1950s and 60s

I've heard that too. Sadly I'll most likely listen to it for an hour or so of his lovely voice.

I always perk up when I hear him doing voiceovers, but I'm still slightly freaked out from hearing him narrate "Porn Shutdown" on Channel 4, a year or so ago, which required him to go into disturbing detail about the content of cinematic masterpieces such as Split That Booty II....
