Oh fuck.... I sat here for a few minutes, because I wanted to read this so bad but at the same time, i knew it was going to gut me.

So of course I had to read it, because this whole story has been so beautifully done even when the subject has been ugly.

It was beautiful. And I'm just in tears.

Loved the nod to the "what if" that happened that very first installment. And I'm happy they got as much as they got. That Jensen had so much living he got to do. But still... I always wanted them to be able to have more.

What grace at the end. And poor Jared, who's going to have to wait a long time.

Thank you so very much! I'm glad you read it, despite your worries it'd be hard and I'm all the more honored to read that, even though they didn't get more time, this ending still worked for you :)

Aww, sorry, but I'm afraid no supernatural save on this one, sad and unfair as it is :(

I've loved this story from beginning to heartbreaking end. Even though I knew this ending was inevitable actually reading it still left me feeling emotionally drained and so very tearful. So tender and tragic and beautifully told.

Damn! That's the second death!fic I've read on this run-up to Easter...must be that time of year.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Yeah, it was inevitable and sad, so I'm glad it still touched you so much and that you liked the way I told it :)

Whops, ok, that's hard.

Oh, wow, that was stunning and heart-wrenching, and just so perfectly done. I had to give myself a few minutes to recover from the tears literally rolling down my face before I could comment. This has been one of my all-time favorite J2 stories, you've written it beautifully and always been true to the characters and their story. I appreciate that you always kept it realistic, it made it that much more enjoyable, even with (or maybe especially because of) the tears.

Thank you for the PDF, because this is one that I will definitely reread.

Thank you very, very much for your kind words! I'm so glad to read that you enjoyed the entire story so much and to read that I've managed to keep it realistic and emotionally consistent.

Sorry for making you cry though.

Thank you, I'm glad you say that. I will add an PDF for this part shortly, too.

Hey,

not sure if you've noticed already, but the PDF you probably downloaded only included "Summer Days". I just added a pdf to the Masterpost for this installment, if you're interested.
