My buddy has talked to me about a social disease (written about in a big old book called "The Claim of Reason") where human beings feel that "privacy" means something exclusive, solely unto themselves, and in a sense that their experiences can only be felt by themselves. How can you commune with other humans with the mindset that you yourself are privatized? Do you see human bodies as human beings or more as golems lurking outside the realm of your very personal experience?
I've gotta canker named "FEAR" on my butt that makes me wanna hide in my shell all the time, but that's not what healthy humans do. That's crustacean.
