Space!Facebook (or tumblr, or dreamwidth or twitter) is a fun idea to play around with, but any form of social media would be completely unheard of in a galaxy far, far away. The Holonet may sound like the internet, but it is a very different beast indeed.

I'm sure there's probably at least one drama supposedly from the rebel's pov. But that actually makes them look like assholes, who are in it more for themselves than any greater good, ending tragically with all of them turning on one another, or something along those lines.
