Actually, it is the last chapter. Ah, sorry. If you want you can just imagine that Anise's death is just another reason he has such serious issues and is even more determined to throw his life away for others.

You know what would be neat? Future run in with SG1 team members and Sam finds out about Anise. *nods* I'm thinking the blending probably left Dean with a lot of residual knowledge...... *begs*

This was really great I love the interaction between Anise and Dean. The ending with Dean been the survivor just bleeds my heart. I can just see the SG1 trying to recruit him but with Anise gone and the family battle calling he just can't stay.
