I walked outside in my winter coat this morning to take Alpha Son to work, and quickly discovered that I was WAY overdressed.  I checked the thermometer, which informed me that it was in the mid-60's.  We had an ice storm over the weekend, so bad that everything was entombed in thick, clear ice.  The weather had continued in that vein since then,

We're in an area known for extremes, so we're sort of used to it, but I'll tell you, it's strange to go from frigid temps and sleet storms (yesterday morning) to 50 degrees and rain (yesterday afternoon). Apparently, it's going to stay balmy until tomorrow night and then the temp is set to plummet. *sighs*

Just when I get used to one mood, she goes and changes...

I think I have an inkling of what Archie Bunker must've felt like...

Yes, exactly! The back and forth is so weird! In one day, our temperature changed almost 70 degrees! (mid-sixties to below zero) That's what's hard to keep up with. Shirt sleeves one day, parka and mukluks the next!

Archie Bunker - ha! Despite his terrible flaws, he is one of my favorite characters. : )

I am sitting and looking out the window at a massive snowstorm right now, and I am enjoying it very, very much. Snow is like magic to me. : )
