of all the video presentations made by the cities bidding to host the 2012 olympics, sport at heart won my heart (men in bowler hats fencing with umbrellas, street cleaners playing broomball ... loved how the "be inspired" theme was weaved into all these strips). YAY for london! i'm glad they beat paris.

Oh, that's great. I miss London so much -- I love Brown, but somehow I think if I could possibly pick a place to live, with no constraints at all -- London would be it. It's so odd... watching the video and recognising just about every landmark and knowing exactly where it is. But yes, very inspiring... I like the whole ordinary people still live inspired lives thing. The Carpe Diem thing resonates as well. Can be a little hard to remember in the midst of the daily grind. But yes, progressive slide into increasing loopiness helps =)

i'd still choose bay area to live out my life ... but if i'd no monetary constraints, i'd be flying to london ever so often. haven't had enough of that place! =) you are leading inspiring life what ... or at least i salute and admire you for all that you're fitting into your life right now. and on top of all of that, you make me laugh! =)
if it's still hard to remember, there are lots of post-its in various luminous colours around. heh.
