sago palms

so, apparently sago palms are poisonous to humans and pets. we just got one a couple weeks ago and although i don't think my dad intends to get rid of it, i'm so glad i found this out before we paid for the two we were going to pick up on monday... eep!

most palms have venom in them I think- at least the fronds

Have had sago palms in the yard for as long as I can remember, not one case of pet poisoning. Have had pest for as long as I can remember too (dos mostly).

A lot of things commonly grown are poisonous.. just think of Oleander...Most pets know better though not all so you do gotta be careful.
